Losing Touch With Friends
I’ve wondered what became of my good friend who hinted strongly that he struggled with same sex attraction. He had every intention of living the Gospel, but I feared eventually it would get too hard and he would become exmormon. The last I heard, he wasn’t exmormon, was going to BYU, and had met a woman he was very fond of, but he just couldn’t make the decision to marry her because it would be fair. I have such admiration for him. He is as sweet as can be and spent his teenage years searching for the truth even though that search ended with a religion that expects him to deny such a strong temptation.
