Training Courses for Xray Tech
Most states require applicants for this profession to be licensed or certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists before practicing in the medical field. To become a certified Xray Tech, you need to learn about radiography from schools and hospitals that are offering training programs for this course. From these programs, you deal with courses such as patient care procedures, radiation protection, anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, radiobiology, medical terminology and pathology. You will be trained how to prepare the patients before the Xray procedure and other tests. Learning about medical ethics and principles of imaging are also expected to be learned.
