Increasing My Coverage
My shop insurance is coming up for renewal soon and I want to take a close look at my policy. Our business expanded greatly over the past year and I want to make sure my property is protected. I also want to look into coverage for loss of business income. A friend recently went bankrupt when his shop closed due to a water leak. His landlord did not have a provision in there that allowed him to not pay rent while the building was repaired. With no income coming in and bills to pay, my friend just could not make it any longer. I don’t want something like that happening to me so I went to buy insurance to make sure I am protected.
