The main and most important concept of a Negative Calorie Diet is actually based around certain scientific research and theory.  The main concept is that the diet is related foods that assist the body to burn more calories than they actually contain. That is how the tern “Negative” was coined. So, basically as the overall calorie intake reduces, the body weight should also reduce as well. There is thought to suggest that when people are on a negative calorie diet, they actually eat their way to weight loss, now that’s an interesting concept and that is also why negative calorie diets are popular when looking for an alternate way of dieting and weight loss.
