The lessons my mother gave
I was three years old when my father left are at Costa Mesa California home leaving my mom and I to ourselves. My mom made an okay income by teaching third grade elementary school. She wanted a little more out of life so she started giving piano lessons at home. After about six months she started giving guitar music lessons at home. Before long it seemed as though she was making more money by giving private lessons than by doing her teaching job. I admire her tenacity because she continued in both job and little business for the next twenty two years.
