It’s not uncommon for a man to get a tattoo of a rose to pay tribute to their sweetheart or mom.  Other than that, I haven’t ever noticed a flower tattoo on a man, until the other day at the convenience store.  I was getting coffee and noticed a flower on the forearm of the man in front of me.  Each petal had something inscribed on it.  I’m always drawn to symbolic things, and since I’ve secretly pondered getting a tattoo, this really caught my interest.  I asked what it was and he told me it was the Plumeria flower and I could find them online if I searched for frangipani tattoo designs.  The five petals stand for devotion, sincerity, faith, surrender and aspiration. The five  words he had inscribed were the names of his mother, wife and daughters.  It was a surprisingly masculine, yet elegant flower.
